Engrained Lifestyle Apparel, a Tampa-born lifestyle clothing brand inspired by the city’s culture and energy, is set to open its first storefront at Sparkman Wharf.

Founded in 2024 by Tampa native and University of South Florida graduate Gabriel Santos, Engrained Lifestyle Apparel was created as a way to showcase love for the city through designs that reflect the spirit and personality of Tampa Bay.

“Sparkman Wharf has always been about creating experiences that feel authentic to Tampa,” said Carly Ciccati, marketing manager for Strategic Property Partners in a press release. “Engrained Lifestyle Apparel is a uniquely local brand with a genuine connection to this community, and their products give both residents and visitors a way to connect with Tampa on a more personal level. The brand reflects the energy, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit that make Sparkman Wharf such a unique destination.”

What began as an online shop and pop-up appearances at local farmers markets will now take shape as its first permanent storefront. The brand has become known for blending Tampa culture, sports and everyday lifestyle into its apparel.

The new store will feature a selection of men’s and women’s clothing, along with youth apparel and signature pieces.

“Opening our first storefront at Sparkman Wharf feels incredibly meaningful because it places us in the heart of the city that shaped our brand from the very beginning,” said Santos in a press release. “Everything we design is intentional and inspired by Tampa’s story.”

Engrained Lifestyle Apparel is expected to open in June.
