Buc-ee’s is expanding one of its Florida locations to include a car wash.
Beside its Daytona Beach location, the enormous convenience store and petrol station renowned for its “beaver nuggets” and Texas-style brisket sandwiches is putting up a new car wash.
The Volusia County Property Appraiser states that 1610 Technology Boulevard is where the new car wash will be located.
The car wash will open in the upcoming eight to ten months, according to Jeff Nadalo, general counsel for Buc-ee’s Ltd.
Customers can choose between two car wash options, according to Nadalo: a $13 “basic” wash or a $16 “works” wash.
“Currently we expect the hours of operation to be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. While no fuel purchase is required to buy a car wash, if a customer purchases the ‘Works’ car wash, he will be able to receive a fuel discount of 20 cents per gallon.”
“Customers will remain in their vehicles during the car wash,” Nadalo told the news outlet.
There is a Buc-ee’s in St. Augustine as well. While the business did not indicate whether it intended to open a car wash there, its management plans to open the “largest” Buc-ee’s in the world in 2025.
It will be situated in Ocala, close to Highway 326, just east of I-75. It is expected to feature an 80,000-square-foot travel centre with over 100 petrol stations.
