Eligible early voters in Florida’s Senate District 14 can begin casting ballots Saturday, March 14, for the Special General Election. Early voting runs through March 21 and Election Day is Tuesday, March 24.
Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer said only registered voters who live within Senate District 14 are eligible to vote. A district map is available on the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections website.
“Local elections are very important, because our local representatives make the decisions that impact our daily lives,” said Latimer. “With 11 different sites to choose from, Early Voting is especially convenient. I’m hoping to see a lot of people out voting this weekend and throughout the Early Voting period for this Special Election.”
To vote early, voters must bring a Florida driver’s license or another valid photo and signature identification, such as the U.S. Passport.
Early voting will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:
-Fred B. Karl County Center, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd.
-Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library, 3910 S. Manhattan Ave.
-Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library, 2902 W. Bearss Ave.
-Keystone Recreation Center,17928 Gunn Hwy.
-Maureen B. Gauzza Public Library, 11211 Countryway Blvd.
-North Tampa Branch Library, 8916 N. Blvd.

When voters arrive, they must check in with a valid photo identification. After receiving a paper ballot, voters will go to a privacy booth and complete the ballot by filling in the oval next to their selection. Once the ballot is reviewed, insert it into the scanner, which records the vote. All ballots will be deposited into a locked ballot box.
For residents voting by mail, all completed ballots must be in the Supervisor of Election’s office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, March 24. Vote-by-mail ballots cannot be dropped off at Election Day polling locations, according to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Election website.
In-person voting on Election Day will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters must cast their ballot at the polling place assigned to their precinct. Some polling locations have changed. The updated list is available on the Supervisor of Elections website.
Poll workers will be available at voting locations to assist voters and answer questions throughout the process.
