Amy Horta did not set out to build another drone photography business. She built a company that treats unmanned aerial vehicles as tools for solving specific problems, and that approach has taken UAV Unleashed from real estate marketing into construction documentation, mapping, and disaster response work across Southwest Florida.
Horta is an FAA Part 107-certified commercial drone pilot, which allows the Sarasota, Florida company to provide professional drone services for clients that include real estate professionals, property managers, construction companies, boat owners and dealers, businesses, government agencies, municipalities, and disaster-response organizations.
The company's work covers aerial imaging, photography, videography, mapping, property documentation, construction progress monitoring, roof and property inspections, and disaster-damage documentation. That list is wider than a typical drone photography operation, and Horta said the range is intentional.

UAV Unleashed provides professional aerial imaging and drone services that combine creative media with practical data collection. The company combines creative media services with aerial data and documentation, and it continues to build capabilities for projects beyond its local market while remaining based in Southwest Florida.
