Strategic Property Partners (SPP) and [solidcore] announced the fitness brand will open a new studio on Water Street Tampa, expanding its footprint in the Tampa Bay region.
The studio is expected to open in fall 2026 on East Cumberland Avenue, bringing [solidcore]’s full-body strength training workouts to the growing downtown Tampa neighborhood, according to a press release.
The location was selected to meet increasing demand across Tampa Bay while offering members access to a walkable district centered around an active lifestyle.
“Since entering the Tampa Bay market, we’ve seen incredible enthusiasm for the [solidcore] experience and a growing demand for additional studio locations,” said Josh Rainey, senior director of real estate + growth for [solidcore], in a press release. “Water Street Tampa was a natural choice for our next expansion. Its energy, walkability and active lifestyle setting made it an ideal fit for our members.”
Founded in 2013, [solidcore] is a boutique fitness brand offering high-intensity, low-impact strength training focused on slow, controlled movements designed to strengthen the core, upper body and lower body.
According to the release, [solidcore] operates more than 175 studios nationwide, with additional locations planned for 2026. The brand currently has studios in Florida, including Hyde Park and St. Petersburg.
“As Water Street Tampa continues to grow, we're focused on bringing in the kinds of amenities and experiences that residents, office tenants and visitors want most,” said Josh Taube, chief executive officer of SPP, in a press release. “(The brand) brings a highly sought-after fitness offering to the neighborhood and complements the strong foundation of health and wellness that has helped guide our community from the start.”
More information about the grand opening and membership opportunities will be announced closer to the studio’s opening.
