Japanese lovers out there, rejoice! Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is preparing to launch its innovative dining concept in Tampa at WestShore Plaza, 214 Westshore Plaza #C-39.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, a grand opening celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for today, Oct. 25.
With its cutting-edge two-tiered conveyor belt system, the restaurant hopes to transform the local sushi scene. This system runs throughout the dining area, serving over 140 Japanese-inspired foods directly to visitors’ tables.
This Tampa facility, which is 2,734 square feet in size, is Kura’s first in the city and its third in the state of Florida. Kura already has more than 50 outlets in the United States.

Sushi platters cost $3.55 across the board at all Kura locations. The vast menu extends beyond sushi to include a variety of soups including as ramen, udon, and miso.
Dumplings, fried rice, and tempura are all available as side dishes. Dessert lovers will also enjoy a comprehensive sweets menu that includes dishes such as mochi ice cream, sesame balls, and cheesecake.
Starting today, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar’s regular business hours will be as follows: Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
