Tampa Weather Today: Cloudy, Warmer Christmas Ahead

Time for Tampa Weather Today.

Even with the additional clouds during the day, this afternoon’s high will reach the low to mid-70s. With only a slight breeze, it should be a pleasant day to be outside.

This weekend will see even warmer temperatures, with Saturday and Sunday highs in the mid-to upper 70s. Every day, the likelihood of rain is still low, but sporadic clouds persist.

On Christmas Day, the following weather system moves in later in the day. Christmas morning should be largely dry and pleasant, with a 40% chance of rain in the afternoon.

It’s not going to rain, but there’s a chance of a brief shower. Christmas Day temperatures are fairly warm, reaching the mid-70s.

Tuesday sees the passing of a cold front, which reduces the likelihood of rain to 30%.

A torrent of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico maintains the likelihood of rain elevated as cooler air moves in behind the front.

Up to Thursday, there may be intermittent downpours before some drier air finally arrives.
