Over the next few days, we may finally get some much-needed rain in Tampa Bay.
Throughout the day today, there is a 30% chance of a passing shower as storms advance south from the severe storm system to our north.
Today will be hot, humid, and windy, with highs in the low 90s and heat index values of 100 or higher. Rain chances rise to 50% on Saturday.
The overall coverage of rain will be greater, which means that more of us will get wet.
Furthermore, pockets of heavier rain are possible. On Saturday, it will be hot and humid, with highs approaching 90 degrees.
The rain chance remains at 40% for Sunday and the rest of next week. Do keep an eye out for intermittent downpours, too!
