Although kitchens are heating up for Thanksgiving, temperatures outdoors are predicted to decrease.
According to the National Weather Service’s Tampa Bay office, showers are anticipated to move through sections of Tampa Bay on Wednesday, leaving behind cooler, drier air just in time for Thanksgiving festivities on Thursday.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be warm, with daytime temperatures in the mid- to low-80s.
However, by Wednesday, the rain chances in Tampa Bay have increased marginally. The weather service said a line of storms ahead of a cold front could bring sporadic showers to the area before 1 p.m.
Whether you’re hosting your Thanksgiving dinner outside or want to open a window while cooking, Thursday’s weather is forecast to be slightly cooler than usual.
The cooler air will remain for a few days. Rain chances increase again on Friday, as consumers flock to crowded malls and superstores for Black Friday.
There is a 30% chance of rain in Tampa in the afternoon, when the maximum temperature will be approximately 70 degrees.
