Zoo Tampa’s Creatures of the Night RETURNS this October 2023

Still got no plans for the upcoming Halloween? Zoo Tampa’s annual Halloween event ‘Creatures of the Night’ can be the one you’re looking for, as they have begun with some exciting new additions.

As part of this year’s revamped Vampire Ball, the family-friendly event welcomes new hosts, Count Chirop and Countess Tera.

According to their website, “Ghouls and goblins of all ages can enjoy howling outdoor experiences, spooky characters, creepy culinary treats, and much more.”

“It’s fun to finally be able to have vampires in the park and we have a big dance party,” Director of Event Productions Alex Crow said.

“Right when you walk in, the Halloween festivities kick off.”

New activities include the Viking Victory Party, which will take place in the Africa Circle and will feature celebratory jams.

Families can also look forward to the Troll Cave and the Howliday House Light Show.

“I have an 8-year-old daughter and she’s a little twisted, so she loves all of this,” added Crow. “Haunted dwellings do not frighten her. She enjoys dancing with the animals.”

Favorite attractions such as the Junkyard of Broken Dreams, Twisted Tales, and Clown Carousel have also returned with fresh surprises.

Creatures of the Night begins at 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on October 6-7, 13-15, 20-22, and 27-29.
